Description
The Senior Cybersecurity Architect is a combination of a cybersecurity expert, trusted advisor, and technology consultant knowledgeable in all things Security from Users to Applications & Data.
Must be a US Citizen and must currently live within the United States to qualify.
Ideal Background
- Must have demonstratable knowledge of the Cisco Security Solutions (ISE, DNAC, Umbrella, Duo, Secure Workload, Secure Cloud Analytics, Secure Network Analytics, Secure Endpoint, Secure Firewall)
- Experience in multiple areas of service delivery: Assessments, Consulting, Architecture, Engineering, Operations, etc.
- Trusted advisor with ability to build lasting relationships, communicate effectively, and work cross-functionally with diverse global teams.
- Role model and motivated learner who actively mentors and sponsors others.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and systematically work toward resolution.
- Utilizes industry best practices, frameworks, methodologies, and techniques in delivery of projects and services.
- DevOps / Infrastructure as Code: Python, git, CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins, Cloud Dev, Ansible, Terraform
- Certifications (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
- Active CCIE in one or more domains: Security, Enterprise Infrastructure, Enterprise Wireless, Data Center, etc.
- Other Industry Security Certifications: CISSP, SANS, CEH, PCCSE, PCNSE, etc.
- Cloud Certification: current certification or ability to achieve: AWS (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Security Specialty), Azure, Google, HashiCorp (Consul, Terraform, Vault), etc.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools in a large-scale enterprise environment
- Experience in a professional services or consulting
- Lead projects working with Key Stake Holders to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, test, and deploy.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, etc.)
- Ability to think strategically and translate strategic goals to tactical objectives
- Ability to produce professional client-facing technical documentation and presentations
- Certifications (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
- CCNP Security
- CCNP Enterprise
